Hi, my name is Dorothy but everyone has called me some form of Dot as long as I can remember. I have decided that this is the year to let the world get to know me and my obsessions. Speaking of ... they are many and range from mind numbingly boring to awesome sauce...(I think people still use that term.) I guess this will be a journey for not only me but anyone brave enough to come on my adventure of being a homebody wife. I am a southern girl born and bred, who now lives in Philadelphia, PA. God help me, I love it here but I miss the stars. How do city people live without stars?
I mean , honestly, how can you walk outside and not feel a little disappointed...
...knowing there are views like this nightly in places like Texas?
But I digress, back to who I am.
What a question to answer!? I am a wordsmith in a day and age of tweets, abbreviations and hash tag everything. An old soul in a 29 year old body. I love to write, cook, decorate, D.I.Y., paint, knit, and anything else that inspires me on the odd day.
What I hope to accomplish with this blog... well I want a place that I can post all my little ideas, inspirations, and D.I.Y. successes.
